What is CBRA?

CBRA, Cardiac Biomarkers Release Analyzer, is an innovative software platform for personalized medicine, created to support the clinical decision. The core of CBRA is represented by the model-based identification algorithm, which make it possible to reconstruct the release curve of some of the most important biomarkers of cardiac damage, in patients with acute myocardial infarction and ST-segment elevation, STEMI.

How CBRA works?

Ordinary Differential Equations mathematically define the variation of plasmatic concentration of cardiac biomarker, such as cTnT or CK-MB, allowing to reconstruct and extract important clinical parameters from a few experimental data.

Ad-hoc technique of identification and parametric optimization, adapt the devised mathematical model to each individual patient, with considerable benefits on the quality of the information that can be extracted from the reconstructed curve.

What CBRA needs to work?

CBRA only needs the time-series of the concentration of the analyzed biomarker (cTnT or CK-MB) as well as the date and time of the event, in order to temporally refer to the experimental data. If this information is not correct, CBRA presents a dedicate routine that allows to estimate this temporal information.
